The South Grove

Searcy Housing Solutions has completed the development of sixty (60) units known as The South Grove. The South Grove is a
newly constructed property consisting of two and three-story buildings with a mix of one-, two-, and three bedroom units with square footage from 760 for a one bedroom, 1,146 for a two bedroom, and 1,310 for a three bedroom. All units have been built with 9-foot ceilings which causes the units to feel very large and open.

Carroll County Health Unit Renovation

The greatest benefit to the community from this project is the addition of a drive-through vaccination clinic for the residents of Carroll County, Arkansas. Other improvements to the Health Unit included new paint, hardware, and flooring – a much-needed renovation after decades of use by the residents and children of the community. The renovation breathed new life into the building and created a positive atmosphere.

Child Safety Center of White County, Arkansas

The Child Safety Center of White County, Arkansas, was organized in 2008. Sadly, the center’s increasing case load resulted in a new 4,200 sf facility built, in part, with CDBG funds in 2015 and a 1500 sf expansion in 2019, again partly funded with CDBG funds. In the last 10 years, over 3,200 children have been served from the White County facility.
