The Northern Springs Trailer Park has 39 homes and had been supplying their residents water from a well. The well water was deemed to be unsafe. The Mechanic Falls Water Dept was contacted about supplying them with town water. The grant was applied for and approved.

This project will supply safe drinking water to 39 homes in the trailer park and potentially 8 private homes. Two fire hydrants were also placed on Poland Corner Road for fire protection.

There is a potential for the 8 added private homes to switch over from their wells to the public water service.

The project was completed in 2019.
