The development provides 116 affordable units to low-income households. Residences include 30 one-bedroom units, 61 two-bedroom units, and 25 three-bedroom units. Common space amenities are available to residences and foster social activities as well as various programming through Chelmsford Woods service providers.
The co-owners of Chelmsford Woods have provided an inclusive, community-supported home for its residents. The residence has partnered with a dozen supportive service organizations to facilitate comprehensive care and well-being for tenants. The development also features adaptable units responsive to the physical needs of residents. Both service-based and physical aspects are replicable to other developments.
