The greatest benefit to the community from this project is the addition of a drive-through vaccination clinic for the residents of Carroll County, Arkansas. Other improvements to the Health Unit included new paint, hardware, and flooring – a much-needed renovation after decades of use by the residents and children of the community. The renovation breathed new life into the building and created a positive atmosphere.

The Carroll County Health Unit serves about 5,000 people each year, mostly lower-income families with young children. The drive-through shot clinic will be available for use to provide back-to-school immunizations and flu shots as well as Covid-19 vaccines.
