Center Pointe South Street

The project is a rehabilitation of 3 levels of historic Trabert Hall, formerly a nurse’s dormitory, which had been used over the last several years for various county offices. The rehabilitation project features a total of 32 one-bedroom apartments and community spaces, including a community kitchen. Eighteen of the apartments are HTF-assisted units. This project was completed in conjunction with a separate project which consisted of renovation of two of the levels of the building which provide community health services (medical, mental health, dental and pharmacy) and workspaces for staff. Services offered on these levels are available to the residents as well as the community.

Niobrara Valley Vineyards Expansion

Niobrara Valley Vineyards is a family-run business this expansion project will increase the economic and tourism capacity of local entrepreneurs. Expansion is to include new tasting room and event center for larger scale groups. CDBG funds will provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility specifically to construct approximately 2,000 ft of walking paths, four resting seats, one camping site, one set of bathrooms, and handicap parking.

Gateway Village

Gateway Village is an affordable housing development located in Cozad. The project, supported by the Cozad Housing Authority, provides 15 housing units available for households up to 60% area median income. Low-income housing tax credits are also being used for the development. The property was once home to the local high school and middle school.
