Kristen Court Family Apartments

Live Oak, CA Congressional District CA-3

Live Oak is a small rural community situated between Sacramento and Chico to the north. The City of Live Oak and County of Sutter have a very limited supply of affordable housing units to meet the demands of their residents. These 24 units will ease the rent burden of 24 very low-income households.

This is Phase II of a three-phase project. The project is new construction of 24 HOME-assisted units located in the rural City of Live Oak. The unit mix is 12 two-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units with rents targeting family households earning less than 50% AMI. Units are garden-style, wood frame supported perimeter foundations with concrete slab floors. The project will share an already-constructed 2469 sq. foot community building consisting of an office, maintenance room, computer lab, exercise room, and resident lounge with a kitchen.

Phase three of the Kristen Court Family Apartments to begin in late 2021 which will provide 32 additional rental units.
