Dunn Utility Products Expansion

The Dunn Utility Products company will be repurposing the Enhance Mississippi Shell Building in New Albany and an adjacent land parcel into two new manufacturing plants. Dunn Utility Products is a provider of precast concrete solutions for above-ground and underground concrete. With the increasing construction demand and urbanization of surrounding areas of Memphis, Birmingham, and Nashville, sponsoring this project will be able to meet the needs of future infrastructure and economic development plans for the surrounding areas.

The CDBG funds will be used for a public road and sewer line extension. The Dunn Utility is committing to creating 30 new jobs inside of the new manufacturing plants and towards increased capacity for construction contracts. The population of the region served is 28,200 benefitting Union County & the city of New Albany.

As of August 2022 the project has currently broken ground.
