| Annual Conference
COSCDA's
Annual Conference occurs every September. The site of the conference
rotates among the eastern, middle and western thirds of the
country (see map for delineations). Members interested in hosting
the conference provide a fact sheet that details what the host
agency can offer the membership in the way of project tours,
special events and entertainment. In prior years, COSCDA members
voted on the location of the Annual Conference each year.
Beginning in 2000, conference site selection will be made at
least two years in advance. During the business meeting at the
Annual Conference, a representative from each host agency that
submits a proposal informally presents their plan to the body,
after which the membership votes to determine the location of
the next two conference sites (see Calendar of Events to find
out the location of the 2002 Annual Conference site). |
